Bayern vs Dortmund: Kane’s Power vs Adeyemi’s Pace — Who Rules Der Klassiker?

Bayern vs Dortmund: Kane’s Power vs Adeyemi’s Pace — Who Rules Der Klassiker?

It’s Der Klassiker weekend in Germany, the biggest game of them all. Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday night, and the champions are flying. Vincent Kompany’s men have made a flawless start to the season and will be eager to extend their winning run while ending a three-match winless streak against their rivals.

Bayern have been ruthless. They’ve won all 10 matches in all competitions and are off to their best Bundesliga start since joining the league in 1965. They’ve also put together eight straight league wins, scoring three or more in seven of those games. That’s domination in its purest form.

Dortmund, though, won’t come to roll over. Niko Kovac’s side are unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions and sit just behind Bayern in the table. Their defense has improved sharply, conceding only four goals in six Bundesliga games while keeping four clean sheets. A victory this weekend would close the gap to just one point and send a strong message that Dortmund are serious title contenders again.

Injuries haven’t made things easy for Bayern. Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies remain long-term absentees, while Hiroki Iro and Josip Stanisic are also sidelined. But even with a depleted squad, Bayern haven’t missed a beat. Dortmund have their own absences, Emre Can is still out with a groin injury, while teenager Julien Duranville and Aaron Anselmino are both unavailable.

Bayern look unstoppable right now, but Dortmund’s discipline and confidence make this a real test. If Kovac’s defense can contain Kane early, the visitors have a chance. Still, at the Allianz, Bayern rarely drops points, and they’ll be the favorites to keep their perfect start alive.
